Anybody who has had his web site on page 1 on Google for a competitive keyword like web design has reasons to celebrate. The key word ‘web design’ is indeed one of the most competitive key words online with Google displaying nearly 1 billion web pages.

It's great to be top in google, I had my site in rank #5 for "free pagerank 2 directory" before... Not anymore Sad

If we achieve #1 in Google for a highly competitive keyword then its worth celebrating.
But it’s of no use to rank #1 in Google, for keywords having poor competition.
Well....it depends upon the keyword anyways.
