Because i dont really know Linux that well,
If i can just have a server running a windows OS with Cpanel

Im not sure why they would need to, but I guess it will make those who must have cPanel happy  ;D

Apparently they are developing it as we speak

i am not sure when it is going to be released 

I believe windows hosting market is not as developed as linux only because of quality control panels.

I hope cpanel windows version will make a lot change in the scenario, lxadmin is also releasing windows version next month.
